im kind of new here, so im not sure if anybody has thought of this or posted about it, but they say that if you want to lucid dream or you want to remember your dreams, you have to convince yourself that you can do it.well, what if you kept typing a convincing sentence over and over when your kind of sleepy, until you are and then maybe you'll have more of a chance to remember something or to do something... it could be something really stupid like this...

      ex.
      "green things= RC's"
"i will remember my dreams when i wake up"
"i will have a great lucid dream tonight"
"i will do a RC every time i see the color purple"

im going to try something like this at night, there are many theories out there and one more won't hurt.

i've just read about how remembering this stuff makes you remember it in your dreams sometimes.

Fact: i just read this over and it's kind of dumb, but worth a try

Dude, you have nothing at all to loose.
Its all a matter of really convincing yourself that you can do it.
I think this would prettymuch have the same effect as MILD (repeating i will remember my dreams, i will become lucid.") As you go to sleep.
If typing has more of a impact on your mind then talking maybe it will work.
From what you read around here alot of people use the standard ways, "wild, mild" bla bla.
Other people just do lots of Rcs and hope for DILDs. (Im currentily doing this becuase i dont get enough sleep.)
And then there are people who have these abstract ways of becoming lucid. And these ways work absolutily wonderfull for them, and somtimes dont really do anything for anyone else.
My point is, if you think somthing might work for you, Go for it.
Everything is worth trying once, (except for murder and herion)
...you get my point, because theres alot of other stuff that please DONT TRY!

I've done this several times writing:

"I will gain lucidity in my dreams and establish control"

Over and over and over again whilst tired.
It also works combined with WBTB if you want to do that.

I think it would work because whenever I am thinking in my head before I go to sleep I always imagine typing it. I'm not a computeraholic and can't touchtype. But good luck anyway. Why don't you post your results?

i tried it and i had typed a bunch of different stuff and i had a dream that was great, very clear, and i recalled it perfectly, but only for like a nanosecond i realized i was lucid.i think i should've been sleepier when i did it.owell, it's worth trying again, so i'll try it again tonight!

You know what, eppy? I really think you are onto something here. I'm gonna add this one to my list of techniques to try.
