recalled 4 dreams! (updated, missed obvious dream signs!)

im not sure if this is the right topic but ever since reading about lucid dreaming and trying to become lucid I cannot remember any dreams. I used to remember up to 3 a night but now, nothing. I can't even keep a dream journal because of it and haven't remembered a dream in detail for 2 months+. I've tried everything to remember dreams, waking up in the night, thinking about what i dreamed about in the morning, everything. Please help my dream recall, please.

I have the same problem. I was working up my dream recall for months and then had my first lucid dream less than a week ago, and ever since then I cannot remember my dreams. Or if I do they seem fragmented and aren't as clear as they were before, they just seem like dull day-dreaming thoughts now. Maybe its because I'm concentrating too hard to get an experiance like the one I had... dunno

      Welcome to Dreamviews poison!

Both of you seem to be experiencing a dream-recall block. I have had phases like these before and it's nothing to worry about.

The 'trying too hard' theory is also valid. Lucid dreaming comes naturally with time and practice. Stressing yourself too hard is counterproductive.

Good luck with both of you and hope you remember better soon!

That happens to me a lot some times when I get lazy and dont write down much for awhile. It seems like you can always get your recall back fast though. Just start writing dreams down in your dream journal. All you need to remeber is like one thing from the dream, can remeber like 3 seconds of it. If you write it down a lot of times you remeber a lot more.

last night i remembered 4 dreams in detail, but during 1 dream i realised i'd had this dream before and died, instead of becomin lucid i just went down a different road where id be ok. and in the last dream i did a reality check with a book and after a while i checked it again and the scribbles in the centre page had turned to words, i just stood there doing nothing until i woke, not lucid. argh! this has pissed me off so bad any tips on how to become lucid easier when this happens

also one of my dream signs is recurring dreams, how should i go about this to enhance the probability of becoming lucid?
