Last year I started meditating and started lucid dreaming. I got to be alright at it, which is a generous word at best, but I had about 8 or 9 notable lucid dreams throughout the semester. I want to get back into it. I'm pretty stressed out this semester, which might have something to do with it, but does anyone have advice?

Also, could anyone give me a clear difference between astral projection and lucid dreaming?

      Is one just more intense?

      Cheers.

I belive "astral projection" is were your soul leaves your body, and you can really see the real world from a different perspective.

I belive people have OOBEs though, i think its just a LD were you have a 3rd person perspective.

Maybe something more, im not sure though, i have never had a OOBE.

one question: Did you try and LD or was it a result from meditation?

(and if you were directily trying to lucid dream) Do you think the meditation helped you with Lding alot

hm, well maybe it was an OOBE then. I'm not sure. Last year, when I used to have them I would meditate and relax and, if I got lucky, I could kind of float away and walk around my room or do whatever. Really interesting experiences though...

I think meditating does help, in my experience. It puts my mind in the right frame of reference and helps me relax.
