I am very new to lucid dreaming, but the two times I have had a lucid dream, I had them because of a trigger I set. My trigger is usually a visual. I guess it's similar to the idea of dreamsigns, but not quite the same. |

Cool - I'll give it a go! I usually just rely on my brain to remind me to do a reality check - but your way sounds like it makes a lot of sense. |

I think I'll try it. maybe looking at my watch or something. I've been looking for a way to remember to use an RC |

27, you could try drawing a dot on the back of your hand. That can help me to remember to RC each time I see it. But you can become reliant on it I heard - the dot might not be in your dreams!!! |
|
That's a good idea! But you are right...if the dot is not in your dreams. But then wouldn't that pose the possiblity of you noticing that there is no dot on your hands make you do a reality check, because you know the dot should be there? |

Hahaha I hope so...but in my dreams I generally don't think that logically. I probably would notice that there is no dot, but think nothing of it at the time. |
