      What's your Method?

      Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know what lucid dreaming method is best for you. I wouldn't mind trying some of yours out.

Hi...my methods so far have not been fixed because of mood changes and other factors. But the most succesfull and the basis of most of my other methods is of course WBTB (Wake Back To Bed). I don't stay up for very long like for a few minutes to 10 minutes depending on how tired I am. I tend to (used to...dosen't work anymore) think about my reality as being like the Matrix during WBTB where everything I've been seeing and seeing is a simulation by someone or something (someone's sick joke), used to lead me to ask "Am I dreaming" while in the dream and usually works in the last dream nearing to morning like 4+ am. Then there was MILD that worked only once also during WBTB. I write down many times like 20+ in a small notebook "I will remember to check my watch and realise I'm dreaming" and in the dream I did check my watch and became lucid. I was wearing a watch to sleep btw to add realism to what I write. Then there is the dreamsign method which worked only once before but I am able to create a new selected dreamsign at will and now I'm focusing on recognizing it. What I do to create the dreamsign is to chose something exclusive (not commonly seen) but real/existing in reality and I must also like what I choose...have some emotional feeling to it. Then during WBTB I just have a detailed look at it and go back to sleep thinking about it. Most likely I will see it in the dream. Then the rest is doing what the turorial tell us....everytime I look at it, do an RC. I only started few days ago so nothing to report yet....

DILDs work for me the best.

You need to update your signature, that says that you have no MILDS

I've only had DILD's. Can't wait till I find another Method that works for me.

I've never had a chance to practice any "techniques" for LDs, but that'll change when summer hits. My super huge collection of 2 (count 'em, two! ) LDs were both done simply by going "wait a minute...", no RCs. But I did do the spinning trick in my second LD, and I keep a DJ that I write in whenever I have time to write a dream down. I usually remember my dreams fairly clearly when I awaken, so dream recall is never a problem as long as I stop to think about it.

i use hypnosis- not HILD but a different one- and combine with WBTB.

i also want to start trying to WILD.

if u interested in the hypnosys, it works real good. the name of the book is Instant Self Hypnosis- Hsow To Hypnotise Your Self With Your Eyes Open.

WBTB for me. Usually I just get up, go to the bathroom, do some reality checks and go back to bed. Worked 7 times in very little time... And it's really easy and simple to do... The method self originated though, that just happened one night and now it doesn't really fail anymore. *We will LD tonight!!!"
      LD count: 25 and counting
