Attempting to WILD makes me sweat

      Hi

Every once in a while I get DILDs if I'm a good boy and do my RCs throughout the day. But after reading Kromoh's WILD tutorial (which was very good btw, you can find it here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=37039 =), I decided to attempt WILD.

So the last couple of days I've attempted WILDs at sevral times of the day, but always with the same result. I get to SP quickly and start seeing some hallucinations, but they disappear quickly. Then I get extremely hot and start sweating. I could feel drops of sweat running down my arms. It was not very comfy and the hallucinations were long gone.

I've tried just ignoring it, telling my self that it's my mind playing tricks on me. So I lay completely still for an hour trying to focus om my breathing and the sound of my computer fans. But nothing more happened. I was still in SP, but my mind was no where near getting into a dream. So I sat up, finding my bed soaked in sweat.

Like I said I've tried several times with the same result. I'm not hot when I go to bed. Actually I've tried to be a bit cool in order to counter this. But no luck yet.

As always my question is: Anyone else with similar experiences? Can anybody think of a way of hindering this?

I'm not sure why you would be hot and sweaty. I know that when I am in bed I have to have the thermostat lower than when I am not in bed. Otherwise, I would be hot and sweaty.

You said that you try WILD's several times during the day? They only work when you have recently been asleep and in an R.E.M. state. Are you reaching that first? You can't just get into bed and go straight into a WILD, unless you do an astral projection technique (In my opinion, astral projection is a type of WILD practice.).
      You are dreaming right now.

If sorry for being a bit diffuse there. What I meant was that I've tried WILD during a nap in the morning, in the evening before bed and with WBTB. Every time with the same result.
