We who are about to dream, salute you!
Maybe you focused too much on reality checking, became paranoid, or whatever, but usually, the day starts when you wake up with a successful reality-check. |

I've seen alot of interresting replies to Kid-Lucid's innitial post, but I would like to find out what Kid-Lucid thinks of the things replied in this Topic. |

not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.
Reality is something messy... People should only "play" with it when they know they're ready for it. I mean, I've confused my dreams with reality, but I never confused reality with my dreams. RCs exist for something... |

Thanks for sharing your concerns Kid-Lucid. It sounds like you have been going through a lot, and I understand your concerns. Would you be willing to share the techniques you used to achieve 100% control of your dreams? In addition to helping someone else avoid the same pitfall that happened to you, it might also offer some insight into why you became so successful at this, which turned out to be a bad thing for you? Maybe then someone could offer some advise to you on how to undo some of the unwanted success you've achieved. Thanks. |

If anything I feel happier in dreams than I do in RL. I felt like RL was just a dream...then I would be happy. |

i've gone through this before, it's naturally. It should wear off and you should 'get used to it' in the sense that even if you can't tell what's real and whatnot - you will know for sure, even if it seems 'surreal' or like a dream when you are awake. |

"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

I was wondering if this may ever be a factor. I've sometimes had dreams in dreams and never knew when I was awake. The worst was when I woke up from a dream, won a lot of money (which I guess isn't an everyday occurance anyway) and then woke up again to find out I hadn't won any money. |

Check out this Wikipedia article about Solipsismsyndrome. Maybe that's what you're experiencing. |
|
That's really interesting! I have that all the time and I didn't even know it was considered a syndrome! |

there's such thing as reality checks to know if you're dreaming or not. also, dream characters are very different from real people (for me at least) they're all idiots and say totally random things and do whatever you want them to do. There are ways to know if you're awake. |

Ok this is like freaky , Should i let this put me off Lucid Dreams or is he just whacked ?? |

Too much of anything is harmful. |
