      too much sleep?

I have many lucid dreams. And only recently. But I don't have any control over them because I'm not getting SP as fast as the dreams come (especially when after I've awaken in the morning).

I'm think it's because I get like 10 hours of sleep everyday... might that be the culprit?

I don't think I've ever heard that too much sleep is detrimental to the quality of lucid dreams but that doesn't mean it can't be.

I'd be interested to know if anyone does feel that way.

I think when your body isn't tired enough you don't sleep as deeply at first and probably not as long either if you don't need it.
