Five LDs in one night... maybe more...

Alright, I had the most weird LD experience ever just now... I finally woke up for real. My God...

Anyways... it started when I was in some area, kind of like a Counter-Strike map, with guns and so forth... and I just realized, "Hey, I'm lucid."

The thing was though, that right when I realized this, my vision went away. All I saw was black. I tried squinting, but that didn't work. I tried walking around a little but, but that didn't work either.

Then I would wake up... lie still, and SP would come out of nowhere and then it'd quickly go away and I'd be still in my bed. The first time this happened, I didn't think anything of it, so I just fell back asleep... right into the same lucid dream.

So I was lucid again, but still having the same problem. Then, while I'm still in that lucid dream, I remembered about false awakenings, and realized that I might have just had one. So, I'm trying to see again, to no avail... when I suddenly find that I've woken up in my bed again (this was the third time).

I do a nose-RC... and it works. I'm lucid after a FA. So I'm like, "Hey, now I'll just get up and try and explore."

The thing was though that it was extremely hard to get up, and when I did my vision was persistent. I was still seeing the still image from whatever my body saw of the pillow and wall. This was happening even though I had already stumbled along my floor all the way to the door.

This cycle happened quite a few times... hence the "five LDs in one night" title. Every time though I had this problem where I couldn't see... and if I tried opening my eyes, I'd just wake up.

Anyone have any suggestions? This made me quite frustrated...

As far as having difficulty getting up, what I have done when I feel "stuck" is try to roll off the bed. Since your "physical" body is paralyzed (hopefully).. try rolling your body to the right or left and standing up. It will feel as though you are actually rolling your physical body.. but it will be your astral/dream body that will be rolling.

Regarding your sight problem, I wrote about a similar experience and I pasted it below for your convenience:

For some reason I get up and walk back to my bedroom and lay down on the floor. My husband comes in from the living room, steps over me asking me what I'm doing on the floor. I get ready to answer him when it dawns on me that I wouldn't sleep on the floor! I was having a false awakening and I'm still asleep!

I get up and head out the door. It still felt as though the sheet was covering one of my eyes. I tried to push it off but I couldn't get my eye clear. In desperation I pushed my eyes open using my thumbs and forefingers and it seemed to work.. things became clear and bright.

      I hope this helps!

Hmm... so using my dream-hands to pull open my eyes would work? I had never thought of that. Just trying to open my eyes by themselves forced my real eyes open... which woke me up, but it sounds like if that idea works then I should still be asleep.

      Thanks, I will try this,
