At least it accomplished *something* positive for you.

What is it about toilets?? The ones in my dreams are always either nasty, broken or there is no privacy as well!

Per my "dream dictionary":

Toilet

To see a toilet in your dream means you need to release your emotions, or get rid of something in your life that is useless. If you dream of flushing yourself down the toilet, you can no longer hide your feelings about a certain situation that has been making you feel overwhelmed. To dream that you are watched while you are using the toilet, signifies your frustrations about getting enough privacy. I had my own check foiled last night, by the way. I usually go with trying to read, which almost always works for me. Last night I was suddenly suspicious that I was dreaming, but couldn't find anything to read. Instead I looked at my hands. Some people here say your hands will look strange in a dream... too many fingers, out of focus, etc. However, my hands were perfect.

I still had a slight doubt, however. I promised myself I would check again a little later, but of course forgot to.

That's cool though you at least thought to look down at your hands. I haven't even gotten that far yet. It's very frustrating to wake up in the morning and realize you remember your dream, but didn't know while you were dreaming.

It's all about conditioning yourself. Do it enough in your waking life, and eventually you'll do it in your dreams. That's how everything else ends up there, isn't it?

Hi, I have afew RCs that have foiled...the The hand RC, The finger through hand RC, The eraser colour changing RC. So far the only ones that reluctantly worked in the dream were the nose pinching and the watch RC but they only worked after like many times of breathing and looking away and then back again at the watch.... I have to like force it to turn out positive that I'm dreaming....

Last night I dreamed that I was talking about a repeating dream that would be great to be lucid in, and I still didn't realize I was dreaming. D'oh. At least the idea is entering my subconscious.

I will never ever use a toilet in a dream ever again. I remember as a young child using one in a dream and waking up and having my parents change my bed sheets.

that's hilarious...imagine if it happened as an adult? lol what an awkward situation that'd be!

Especially if you're not the only in the bed!

I have never done a reality check to become Lucid. But every now and then after becoming Lucid, I will wonder if I am still in a dream. And I will do one to make sure I am still dreaming, before doing something stupid. What I normaly do, is jump into the air and catch myself before hitting the ground. And if I can hover there I know I am still dreaming.
