You most likely entered a dream. When you feel that "jolt", slowly try to open your eyes and get out of bed. Do some RCs too. |

Last night, I went to bed, and I was relaxing. When I felt relaxed enough, I tried the FILD technique, so I moved my fingers slightly, not much though, just enough so that I could feel the muscles twitching. After this, I found that I sort of drifted in and out, seeing shadows through my closed eyes, and maybe once or twice seeing a dark image of something. |

Woa! Weird...I get this frequently as well when I'm taking naps and attempting FILD (which has yet to work for me unfortunately). I KNOW my head is perfectly straight but it feels as though it's bent at the weirdest angle, but if I focus on it too much I come back to the regular "head on pillow" feeling. |

"Am I falling asleep, is it all just a dream? When the cars are like water, and the road is like a stream..."

Sometimes I feel a bit like I'm spinning, or lying crooked at my bed. Should ignore this feeling? |
