      small WILD question (sorry)

this is only a small question...sorry for starting a whole new topic for this.

but during WILD...iv tried a few times...the first time I got some HI..but I got excited and sorta lost it all.

the next 2/3 times...iv had nothing. I am relaxed and 'tingly' and focused on breathing or a point on my face....and the closest I get to anything is the odd flash of light and dark colour swirls. etc

what can i draw from this to improve? Is this failure to see things related to awakeness/tiredness?

should I reduce my WBTB time..or sleep closer to 5 hours not 6?

any tips would be appreciated, thanks everyone.

Ugh, that happens to me everytime. Last time I was doing the 'count & visualize the numbers' technique, when I got to around 300 (lol) my brain said, "Oh, that man keeps getting in the way... Man?! OMGZ THAT WAS A HI!!!1" and then I don't get anymore...

Yeah, I think if you're not getting to the HI part, and you have had them before, then you're probably too awake/excited/anticipating... Maybe reduce the time you stay awake for during WBTB, and make sure you don't do anything that wakes your mind up too much.
