RC Unreliable!

this has happened quite alot now i do the time rc or the finger counting rc and it doesn't work the time stays the same and have 5 fingers on each hand, Does this happen to anyone else?

There are several things that might be "wrong". 1. People are different and so are their dreams. For example, I can usually read time and text in my dreams. So I don't use it as a RC. You must find the ones that work for you. 2. You might not be doing it the right way. It's important to ask yourself if you are dreaming when doing a RC. It used to happen to me, since I was just doing it without paying much attention. So my mind just faked the RC as positive, because that's all it knew. 3. Maby something else... Basically just find the right RC that works for you. I suggest that you use the "nose pinch" one. Just pinch your nose and try to breathe. If you can, then it's obvious that you're dreaming, or you have a hole in your nose.

yeh maybe thats the reason sometimes i just do the reality checks without asking myself "am i dreaming" but i think it is the right rc for me, thanks for the tip. i personally don't like the pinch nose rc i hear it doesn't work half the time

Hmm, I won't say that you're wrong or anything like that... But from my experience and I guess other's aswell [insert quote here (?)] it's the most reliable. Especially because your nose is free to breathe, while the one in the dream is being blocked. Thus creating the illusion of being able to breathe through your fingers.
