Thread: Need help with VILD

I'm trying this other guys technique where two friends are standing by the dreamer, telling him/her to do a reality check and then he or she will leave the room knowing he or she is lucid and then the whole thing restarts. Now I have a problem with that, I have a few questions,

I'm doing the hand Reality Check, what do my hands have to look like?

Do these induction methods make you sleep easier along with lucid dreaming?

Does it work easier depending on how detailed the dream is? Aka, posters on the wall, the fireplace, etc.

Edit - Does it work while taking a nap?

well i have an answer to the first question.

when i had my first and only lucid dream, i checked my hands to see what they would look like (so i would know what they are supposed to look like for future reference) and they looked longated and crooked like alien finger, it looked like there was an invisible black hole incredibly warping my hands. anyway thats what they looked like for me.
