Hi, I've been having trouble with pain in my legs and sometimes in my shoulders while WILDing. Does anyone have any good positions? And is it better or worse to lay on your back? |

Lay however you fell comfortable when trying to WILD. Personally i find it most comfotable to lie on my back, but when I was younger i used to sleep on my stomach. Basicaly just get as comfotable as you can in a way that won't bother you if you are going to WILD because it takes some time. |

I think most people tend to lay on their back, as it's the easiest way to induce SP. I lie on my back with my arms at my sides, but then again I've never successfully WILDed. |

"Of course it is all happening inside your head...but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"
~Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I always sleep with my fan on, so whenever I try to WILD on my back, gravity pulls my mouth open and the fan dries it out. Plus, on my back, I'm much more aware of my stomach moving up and down and its hard to relax and breath normally. But when I try on my side, my ear gets cold for some reason, my arms feel too constricted, and I start to feel like I'm drooling, even though I don't drool that much sleeping regularly... Turning the fan off isn't an option, because without it, my bed gets too hot. |

I've heard that the right side is the best for WILDs |

It's different for everyone. Sometimes I lay on my back, sometimes on my side. Granted, if you lay on your side, it may take longer to get into sleep paralysis, or you may not get it at all. Also keep in mind that you do not NEED to induce SP to have a WILD. To the contrary, I almost never get SP, and I still WILD. I am always able to move whenever I want, with no resistance. I don't know why, but it's true. |
