I got lucid today due to an SP in a dream... o_0

      Hi,

Today I experienced a pretty weird way of becoming lucid. I will explain it in a bit more detail.

So I was having this normal dream, not lucid. And suddenly I had an FA. I "woke up" in my own bed in my room, and I wanted to go back to sleep:p So I closed my dream eyes, and as I did that I actually had an SP in my dream o_0 And because of this I, of course, thought to myself "Cool, an SP, now is a great oppertunity to get an LD!". Now I "fell asleep" again and got thrown directly into a new dream scene. This time fully lucid. I think this must have been my greatest lucid dream yet! It was all extremely vivid and I rememeber that the colors where really beautiful. They were a bit exaggerated but just perfect The dream scene I got thrown into was this road I was standing on, with beautiful landscape all around me. So I began to fly(I flew in my last LD so this time it was somewhat easy for me to do). The reason why I think this must have been the best lucid experience I've had is because, as I said, it was extremely vivid with all beautiful colors. But not only for that, also because this is the lucid dream where I've achieved as high ludicity as I did! I was so much aware that I knew every single thing around me was a dream, and I was the one creating it. And while I was admiring it all so much, I kinda forgot that I was flying and well... I flew into a pole... But because I knew it was I dream it didn't hurt at all, I knew nothing could hurt me in here. So I landed on the landscape and tried to summon someone, and failed(I have done this before). And there, my dream stopped and I woke up.

Was pretty exciting Deffinately happy about even though it was short.

Anyway, it would be kinda funny to hear other stories of weird ways of becoming lucid. Maybe someone have tried the same as I have, hehe.

      Cheers.

Are you sure it was a FA? Did you do a reality check?

I am positive. Because when I woke up I remembered that in the dream when I "fell asleep" again, my position in the bed was wrong from how it was in the real world(my head was where my feets normally are), and also, I could hear talking from people we know. Only that in the real world, they weren't there(and they aren't someone that just comes around randomly). So it has to have been in a dream. Also please note that the SP wasn't happening to my real body, but to my dreaming body hehe. So it wasn't real, but it felt just like it would have done in the real world.

Those LD-within-a-dream experiences are so cool. I've had one myself. I also know that both Moonbeam and Twoshadows have had more than one of those. Though, I'm confident that others have as well.

But that's not to say that yours wasn't very cool. Nested dreams like that are amazing. First of all, it's amazing that it's possible to dream by "going to sleep" when you're already in the dream world to begin with. But, to have a WILD from what we believe to be starting in real life is incredible.

In my one experience, I entered the WILD from the dream world then returned to the same dream world after I "awoke" from the LD.

      Hi Oneironaught,

I just read your experience, and I must say that is very impressive!

Indeed it is amazing. I must admit that it was kinda baffling when I woke up for real:p hehe. But I was very happy with the whole experience. I didn't even really knew that was possible. But yeah... just the concept of dreaming while you're in a dream, let alone using LD techniques... yeah... that's pretty awesome! hehe.
