Thread: Was i LD'ing

I recently got into this whole Lucid thing maybe a few weeks ago and its been pretty dry because ive been trying different methods but this one time i told my self over and over again "i will lucid tonight" Im not sure what this method is called but i think i may have had a Lucid Dream

The dream was me in a parking lot and i was walking and i tried to prolong it by spinning (i was told this by another webasite before finding this gem) so i spun around a bit and a new scene started where i was walking down a courtyard type thing... it looks liek some sort of museum but then all of a sudden a wall of static was heading towards me and i was observing it and it hit me and i woke up dizzy and my vision blurred

Im not sure if that was a complete lucid dream because it sort of felt that i was notin control but then again it sorta felt like i was..... weird

i think i may have thought something liek taht.. its hard to explain sort of... waht i thought was wait a second... where am i... it felt like i was watching a movie but i knew it was me.... its a mystery how to explain this sort of thing

I think i know what you mean. It sounds to me like a semi-lucid dream that probably would have become fully lucid if you wouldnt have waken up. you might not have had enough time to fully realize you were dreaming, but you were starting to, so then you got startled by the whole static thing. but at the same time you might have been fully lucid if you had the awareness to spin. i dont know but good job in gettin that far in a few week. congrats.
