      my new plan for WILD...

ok...WILD was the first method I ever tried...and I never could pull it off.
I found brief success with MILD...but I havent succeeded for AGES.

last night's MILD...i went back asleep and simply dreamed about being unable to get back to sleep for my MILD.

      so i'm back to WILD....

I hear lots of people say they dont stay up, even past the 10 minute mark on a WBTB + WILD...I think I would end up falling asleep too quickly...so my plan was to try to WILD on my back...

I struggle to sleep on my back...so If i combined a really short WBTB with WILDing on my back; do you think I stand a chance? because

      a) i will be tired
      b) i will find it difficult to sleep

i think they cancel out lol

and If i prop my pillow up to stop swallowing, should it affect my WILD-ability?

if anyone has any wisdom on wild-ing on their back, if they sleep on their side, it would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks all, sorry for the long post

A big key to WILDing is being comfortable, so I don't think your idea will work. You'll probably just become irritated from being in positions that don't suit you. There is no set-in-stone technique to WILD, play around a bit and find what works for you.

IF im really tired...i can fall asleep in a car, or train or floor lol. So i thought, it stood a chance? particularly if I focus on breathing

Well if you're really tired, then you'll likely just lose focus and find yourself awake a few hours later (or at least that's what always happens with me...).

I find the same. Can't go to sleep, try unnormally on my back to WILD, still can't fall asleep,
then after 2 hours of trying to WILD/sleep I eventually fall asleep and am so deep, I can't try RC's or anything in the dreams.

Well I can sleep in pretty much any position so I'm not sure if this is any help, but I've had WILD's both on my back and on my side.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

yeah, i tried this last night...no problem sleeping on my back...I occasionally found myself drifting off...but I was unable to get anywhere cuz of damn swallowing reflex!

It's OK to swallow, worrying about it just makes it worse. In fact, after your mind starts to drift a little, it will become as natural as breathing.
