That happens to me all the time (waking up in a strange place). Another kind of related thing that happens is I really want to go to bed, but I'm in a strange place and I want to go to bed and I can't figure out where I'm supposed to sleep. |

A few times lately, I have dreamed that I woke up in a place I was not familiar with at all. Every time, I have just sat there in the dream place and racked my brain trying to figure out where I was, what day it was, how I got there, and what could possibly be happening. It is the most baffled state of mind I have had this year, and I keep having it. I also woke up in my real bed right after each false awakening and was totally pissed that I had a false awakening and did not catch it. So from now on, when I wake up in a myserious place, the first thing I am going to do is consider that I might be having a false awakening. I will do a reality check right away every time. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I wish i had more FAs so i could take advantage of this, as i do a reality check pretty much every time i wake up. |
