Dream Incubation...How do you initially "incubate"

I'm not entirely clear on how dream incubation works...i was reading another thread about it in "Dream Control" but it doesn't explain very clearly about how to actually incubate a dream. and i also checked out the tutorials....but to no avail...apparently there isnt one for dream incubation. anyways, i was just wondering if anyone could help me out a bit? or if a mod is feeling super-ambitious...could maybe make a tutorial? it sounds really interesting.
