      Help!

OK, I tried for a few weeks doing dream recall stuff, and got a bit of improvement. I then stopped due to the fact I was very tired, and for the last two days have had very vivid dreams, I am trying to get lucid, and posted on the recall board asking for help (to no avail) about how to improve my recall, but this seems to have solved itself. What should I do now?

      The steps I used was:

      Recall
      Awareness
      Lucidity

You already solved recall. Like Ev said you need to work on inducing awareness. You can do this through reality checks, MILDs, WILDs, or other lucid techniques. Give this steps a few weeks.

The last step is sustaining your lucidity. You can achieve this through stablization techniques (Rubbing your hands, verbal commands, etc.).

Good luck, if you have any specific questions just ask.

      Yep, I generally agree here.
The reason your recall solved itself was probably because dreaming was on your mind so much - your subconscious picked up on it, and automatically started making your recall much easier.

I kinda like the way Squall states it... you got past the first step, so the next one is awareness

Yeah, Squall has a good point. You first need to become aware before you can become lucid. It's tough, but if dreaming and reality checks become a routine, it will probably pop in your head while your dreaming. Don't give up!

Reality checks all of the time should do it. If you do them everytime you wake up, you should catch yourself during a false awakening. I don't know about you, but I have a lot of those in my dreams everynight. It's the way I go from one dream to another.
