What do you do when you have SP?

I do WILD a lot, and can 100% of the time get to SP. My body is numb and I feel as though I am flying so fast, and seeing colors flying all over.

But then it fades, it will happen for like 30 seconds, then it will happen again every 20 minutes or so. But I never enter the dream state.

I will eventually flip over, do a couple RCs to make sure I am awake. Then I go to bed. So I definitely am not lucid.

How do I get past this?

You shouldn't have to wait that long.

Next time after the flying sensations and the colours, try will yourself to float up off of the bed, or do some other reality checks. You might discover that you entered a dream of you laying in bed waiting to have a WILD.

I have this problem, i will lay in bed forever in SP, But I do reality checks every now and then, and they all pass.

If you enter Sleep Paralysis, are numb, and are seeing colors flying all over, you are getting pretty close.
It seems to me though, from your descriptions, that you are waiting for something to happen while you are numb,
and this is not what you should be doing. Imagine a scenario, imagine you are flying off of your bed as Vexy said,
immerse yourself in your sleep paralysis by doing whatever fits you using your imagination, and you'll get closer
and closer to succeeding every time.

Last night after SP, I imagined I was in my backyard and I was imagining the way it felt.

Then suddenly I had this huge overwhelming SP stronger then I have ever felt. I felt as though my body was thinning out and expanding. It was weird.

I started seeing LOTS of colors and people and stuff and then it all went away. I was not able to ignore the thinning feeling and I lost my concentration on the scene.

Does it sound like I was almost there? Should I have just tried longer?

Not to hijack your thread, but I just had a few questions about SP/WILD, and I don't think it really constitutes its own thread .
Alright, so whenever I sleep in class, it's kind of like I'm half asleep. I'm asleep, but still kind of paying attention to my surroundings, and don't really move at all, besides maybe twitching a little or something. Is this SP/the beginning of WILD?

You are definitely almost there, but once you've lost the moment you should probably just give up for that time. I find that once you lose it, it's gone, and you'll most likely just be lying there for a long time.
Anyway, it sounds to me like you're concentrating too much on it, and maybe getting frustrated. Have you tried a WILD after a WBTB? I find these much easier as I'm kind of half asleep anyway and I'm not thinking about it so much. Its more like actually falling asleep but being ever so slightly aware of it, enough to feel the wave of SP, but you enter a dream almost straight away.

It doesn't really sound like SP to me - its an unmistakable feeling, you'd definitely know if it hit you. You may be on the verge of it however.
