      Half Lucid ?

Well i just woke up, interesting dream i had, ill cut it short.

So i went to this store to buy 9v batteries, there was this black girl at the counter seemed to be going slow, and when she got to me kinda didnt pay attention. Eventaully she did and i remember she asked my name and i said Jon Smith. She said really? and i said yes, then out of nowhere she said do you rock out? I smiled and said yes, "i do play guitar" and she smiled and said hey yeah you're jon smith and you rock out.

Anyway... i go back to my house and I went to turn some lights on, none of the lights work, i was somewhat afraid of walking around in the dark, so i was getting somewhat annoyed at this and kept trying different lights, i was like "What the hell why aren't they working, so i said ok maybe this isn't real, so i look at my hands, their somewhat blurry but then that fades and my hands looked normal, 5 fingers etc.

So im thinking, ok... the lights still don't work and i have 5 fingers, what is going on, so i decided to rub my hands together and spin, and when i did this some of the lights came on.Then i went to the kitchen as i remembered that light didn't work and it came on. I turned around and saw our Christmas tree in our living room with our cat going backwards trying to get this firefly like thing in the air, then i woke up.

This is the first time something in a dream prompted me to do a RC, thing is the hands thing didn't work as they looked normal enough to think it was real, but then i did the rubbing hands spin. So im going to go back to sleep, any suggestions with what i should do having had this happen ?

Try other RC methods, plugging your nose and breathing is a great one, or looking at a watch (if you wear one).

Buy a watch from the dollar store that beeps ever hour,

Then do a RC every time the watch beeps,

      and,

      Viola!

That seems to work well for remembering to do RCs,
Plus you can hear the beep in your dream from time to time.

congrats on remembering to do an RC in a dream - that means you're making progress I think one of the best RC's is plugging your nose - just reach up and pinch your nose closed - if you're dreaming, 9 times out of 10 you'll still be able to breath. From what I know this RC works for almost everyone.

      Good luck

I remember when you posted a thread about that, it worked great for me too!
