New and Improved technique for inducting WILD easily!...

      Introduction:

Before i begin.. i must state that i did not steal this technique.. i am Dream Boat.. this is my new account!.. a while back i came up with a knew technique for Inducing WILD... it was quite sucsessful, but im not really shaw if evryone grasped it as good as they could of done if i had taken the time to write out a proper Tutorial on it... aneyhow, iv'e decided to along with it. In This tutorial, im basicly going to show you how to induce HI by blacking out.. before your body goes to sleep. training yourself to stare at a certain point untill your eyes have completely blacked out!... iv'e had alot of sucsess with this technique in the past and hope you do to.. Here we go

      The technique:

Step1. lie in bed, No bright light's. Preferably in total darkness.. it may take a while but once you Adjust to the light. You need to keep your eyes focused on one certain place.. The most important thing is that you do NOT move them!... other wise you have to start again, this may be tricky at first but you get the hang of it.. Try to take the focus off your eyes but still being aware of where your looking... Now, one of your eyes might begin to black out. Folowed bye the other one, if you move your eyes or blink then the process will start over.

Step2.Now, Your are completely blacked out. you may start to see HI.. Try not to focus on the imagry.. just let it pass, if you try to look at it, your eye's and focus might alter and your vision might go back to normal...

Step3. you may start to feel some changes in your body.. the imagry may get faster and more colourful, just relax and go along with it.

Step4.Now when you feel relaxed, and you can no longer feel your body. Slowley close your eyes. The imagry should NOT disapear, if it does then you have closed your eye's to soon. If this happens. Do not move your body just open your eyes and start over. it will be alot faster for the second time.

Step5.Now that your eye's are completely closed you may focus on the imagry. Not to much, just aknowlidge that it's there and take some time to relax and listen to the sound's that accure whilst your body enters sleep paralysis.

Step6. Now, your almost there. Stay relaxed and consontrait. On the sound's. Visualisations. And feelings.. as the imagry gets More solid. Consontrait on one image. Now, spin it. really really fast, untill it get's more solid and vivid... contunue to do this untill the whole image is vivid and you are certain you are dreaming..

Step7. Your done, step into your dream. And enjoy.

Note:this is best done after a WBTB. How ever it can easily be done before going to sleep. But i suggest being Quite tired. At the time. The whole process take's up to about 10 - 20 minutes if done before going to sleep. If done After a WBTB it can be done within 5 - 10 minutes... Depending on the person. it take's a while to master but once you've got the hang of it, It's incredibly simple and good for gettin easy high quality lucid dream's... Im not shaw if this work's for evryone. So please, please, please.. let me no how thing's go!... thank's!...

If you have aney question's what so ever. Please dont hesitate to ask. Thank's again. -Sasuke-Uchiha-...

this is sorta like DB's blacking out method. But I'll give it a try. The only 2 problems I can see is not moving your eyes and the HI. Not everyone gets HI. Even though I tried DB's method and failed, several times- I never got any HI.

Edit: my bad Dreamboat LOL I wondered where I seen your quot under your name lol. Its still a little hard. Maybe you should post one of your sucessful exp~ what u exp, did and saw

I actually used to black myself out sometimes. I did it for fun, I never knew you could use it to WILD. I might give it a try.

And no offence, I think you need to work on your spelling and punctuation just a tad.

I have done this many times. The Magical Stare I would call it. Never before seen it as a way to enter a WILD. Bright thinking!
I can have intense visions and visual distortions while staring into a dak spot in my darkened room, but indeed; At a given point my eyes shoot back into focus-mode. Almost automatically.

Is there any way to help my eyes STAY out of focus?

I tried this last night and personally I never thought I'd keep my eyes open all that time but I just lay down in bed and stared at the small LCD on top of my TV and was almost pulled into it until I blacked out or the light was a pin prick size.

It was really freaky but suddenly all these orange sparkles appeared and I found my self closing my eyes and I slowly feel into a dark room totally blank except for me.
So I tried some stuff yet I couldn't tell if it was a dream or not it was really freaky.

Still I found my self totally falling asleep in that room and i can't seem to remember much after that sadly :/

Still seem to work for me. Good job!

Indeed it would certainly be nice if this method DID make me LD as it seems like a great achievement for me at the moment and because of school and such its difficult to wake in the middle of the night for other WILDs. I was considering getting adopted but its very hard as I said before and I don't think it do me much good because of the stuff I have to do awake :S.

Still I shall keep trying and we shall see ^^

I was about to try this technique, just to see if I could manage the black out part. Then I realized I still had my contacts in. LOL.

Wow. Considering my name and that Henry David Thoreau is one of my favorite writers, your sig really suits me.

I like the idea of this technique, but am having some trouble.

When I first tried this I got my eyes to black out first try, was very easy. But I didn't get to the closing my eyes part, my vision kept coming back. I've tried a bunch more times since then but I can't get my vision to black out anymore because I can't seem to keep my eyes still. I'll stare at a point for 20 seconds or so and then my eyes will rapidly jerk around slightly as if they've lost their lock on the spot I'm looking at. They'll stop jerking for 20 seconds and then it'll happen again. It's driving me crazy. Anyone have any tips?

I'm about to go to sleep and will try again during my WBTB. I'll check back here in the morning.

      Bleh, I failed again.
This time instead of being unable to keep my eyes still, I was unable to keep them open! They started to sting after like 2 seconds and would flinch closed automatically. I guess they weren't lubricated enough. I thought about pulling some nose hairs to make my eyes water... but I thought that was too much trouble

Somehow though I did manage to WILD anyway! For the first time!

I don't know how I did it though, because I tried to WILD normally after I gave up on my eyes, but I gave up and rolled over to go to sleep. Then 20 seconds later I did a nose RC for the hell of it and found I was dreaming already! I didn't notice any transition at all and I'm sure I was still awake when I gave up on the WILD.

Unfortunately there was no light in my dream and I couldn't see anything, not even my digital clock readout. I failed at creating light and light switches didn't work, but eventually I made it outside by feeling my way and there was a little moonlight. Then I woke up. Doh!

So I tried this last night, and for me, it was impossible. It burned my eyes terribly and I would blink automatically after only several moments. I even tried holding my eyelides open, but I suppose that kind of defeats the purpose. Is it better to focus on a small, bright light? I was focusing on a spot on the ceiling, but maybe light would work better?

I also tried it in the shower. Heh. That worked a lot better, but probably because there's so much moisture in there to keep my eyes from drying out. However, I didn't manage to black my eyes out and even if I did, it's not like I could start dreaming in the shower!

On second thought...my water bill is included in my rent...

      *dashes off to the shower*

This works great! I was taking a nap because I was tired, and I lied down for about 5 minutes and it worked great! the only bad part was my mom came in and thought i was crying because my eyes were red and watery

Ok, this seemed to work evry well for me. I tried this before going to sleep, as I have been doing with all WILDS over the past few days, not expecting much success.

After closing my eyes (which i might have done too early) I tried other WILD techniques, and got good results, such as a sinking feeling. I didn't get very close to actually LDing, and I gave up before I fell asleep (I really needed to move my legs, it was so irritating.) but i'm pretty sure this would work well if it was done after waking up in the morning or if I tried a WBTB, thanks!

Same for me, but after a while of trying my eyes were watering, which i think helped. Also, after getting to the blackout phase a few times it got pretty easy, but it took a bit of time before that was the case.

Does this technique have a name?
EFILD (Eye focus induced lucid dream) or something along those lines?
