improved recall but not yet LUCID

In the past week or so, my dream recall has improved alot. Every night I remember dreams now. Last night I remember having 9 of them. The thing is, I dont remember 100%. I remember the location and scene the most, the people and spoken words are what I cant always remember fully. Now, so does my recall have to get to the point where I can remember my dream word for word and everything 100% before LUCID will kick in? It has been on my mind so much in the past weeks that, I should have become LUCID by now just from think about it.

It will get better and you will remember more the longer you keep up with journaling. You don't need to remember every single little aspect, but it helps to write down as much as possible. Lucidtiy will come a lot easier the more vivid your dreams are. Work a lot with autosuggestion. MILDs are a great way to have Lucid Dreams without interrupting your sleep cycle.
      WILDs - 38
      MILD/DILDs - 44
      VILDs - 8
TILDs - 1 (Thirst Induced Lucid Dream, never going through that experience again...)
Total: 98 - So close to the big 100

You know, I've been wondering about that, too. My dream recall has plummeted terribly in the last month, I don't even realize I have dreams anymore. So I was wondering, should I first improve my dream recall, or should I hit two birds with one stone and try to remember a lucid right off the bat?
