Yet another first lucid dream post...

Well, not really my first lucid dream (I've had a few when I was younger), but the first time I achieved lucidity (if that is a word) without immediately waking up. So the dream began with me waking up in my bed. I almost immediately realized I was dreaming. I decided I would test my powers. I held my hand out and sort of pictured one of my books flying off my bookshelf and into my hand. And lo and behold, for the first time ever, I controlled something in my dream! Next, I got a thirst for destruction, so I used the same technique to pick up my bookshelf and throw it across the room onto the opposite wall. With a thrust, I threw my bookshelf (still without touching it!) across the room, and it smashed into the wall and broke right in two.
Unfortunately, my lucid dream ended as soon as it began. I realized my house was infected with larger than normal ants, and my awsome dream quickly became a nightmare. While I continued to use my power to throw the ants around, I forgot that I was dreaming, and therefore lost the insight to realize I could have just torched them, or made them dissapear.

Good job on your first lucid dream, Indiana-Jonez!

That's great that you were able to make the book come to you and to be able to mentally throw your book shelf across the room.

Don't worry that your dream wasn't as long as you wanted. It was a great start. You'll get longer dreams and be able to focus on staying lucid the more you practice.

      Keep it up!

(Funny, I also had an ant dream night before last...)

Indiana-Jonez, congratulations on your first lucid dream with so much control (moving things without physically toucing them.. very cool)!
