      Low Lucidity

Hi, I've been at very low lucidity most of my life. 6 months ago, I started to keep a dream journal and now can remember at least 2-3 dreams a night without the journal. My dreams have gotten a tad clearer, but that's it.

My dreams range from very bizarre and adventure-like to slightly odd daily life, so I am having a hard time finding constant dream signs.

It's like I know I am dreaming, but I never do anything about it. I still go with the flow and let its adventure take me. I never remember to do reality checks and never ask myself if I am dreaming verbally in the dream. I've only attained full lucidity a couple of times for about 10 seconds before I've woken up.

Please help me, I'm at a loss what to do and it annoys me that I keep missing my change every night.

Dramastically eh? Ok, it's just a typo but I love the way it's in caps too so it really stands out, hehe

Okay, that answer was fairly obvious, so...

      Obviously I've done it already!

      Phantasy,

All you can do is keep trying! Most of us struggle with it from time to time.
About the only thing that works for me is to keep working on recognizing what is absurd in my dreams and looking for dream signs.

As for lengthening your LD episodes, practice is the only thing that will work!

Don't give up, and keep a positive attitude. For example, don't go to bed worrying about it, just relax and let it happen naturally.

phantasy, can't help much. I have very little experience with RCs. I'd help if I could.

Some people have more potential then others do, but indeed, with practise you can do it. Everybody can..

Try as much varieties of techniques as possible, make a schedule of techniques which you use on what day and try find out what techniques works best..(WILD,MILD,CHILD,Self Hypnosis etc) what gives oyu the highest dream rate vividness..meditate..read as stuff about dreaming and lucid dreaming as possible..talk about it..anyting that has to do with it..

Everybody must find its own way..it will come naturaly, dont get obsessed or pissed if it doesnt work, be optimistic, think it will come naturaly, think its easy

probally more that ica n say but no time..and this will do

i'd have to say, once the topic of lucid dreaming becomes a part of your day to day life, for instance, if you talk about it all the time, think about it, do RTing, etc. it will become a part of your dreaming life, and you will begin to realize the dream world from reality

      ...words of wisdom! haha

I found that saying "IM dreaming!" when I am dreaming tends to wake me up for some reason, saying "I am in controll" works better for me and dosent wake me up
If you have a free day, sleep in, the longer you sleep the longer you dreams get and the higher the chance you will attain lucidity, relax =) youve an entire life, the fact that you are on this path now is a good sign. You also seem to have good dream recall wich is also on track, dont give up, know your goals but do not force them

      Welcome aboard too =)

last saturday morning, when i realized it was a dream i did not say "I AM DREAMING", but i said..."OH, THIS IS A DREAM"
it seemed to help me gain control, because it was not an excited statement...but a calm, controled one

the truth is...you could slit my throat, and with my one last gasping breath i would apologize for bleading on your shirt[/b]

Phantasy, try waking up around 5 or 6AM, stay awake for 30 minutes telling yourself you will have a lucid dream and make up a dream scenario, such as meeting a friend at a certain place, then go to sleep again and you will induce lucid dreaming,
