I wrote in my dream DJ

ok I am really pissed at myself, I want to :headbang: after a lucid I had last night I decided to write it in my DJ after I woke up from the lucid and I wrote some key notes down and went to bed. when i woke up I see I didnt write anything in my DJ. it took me a second to realize I had a false awakening and wrote down notes in my DJ while I still in a dream. :headbang: I just want to ripe my hair out! im now always RC after a dream always.

      good news?

This could be a tremendous opportunity for you.

If you keep having false awakenings during your write in DJ activity, I suggest that you perform a reality check after writing in your DJ as a habit. This new habit would come along with writing in your DJ as a false awakening - you realize your dreaming and presto - a lucid dream.

It would have been priceless to see your face if Darth Vader had come in your room while you were writing it your DJ. Lol

I've done this twice. The worst part is that I won't even notice that the entry is not in my real dream journal until much later in the day, and by that time I've usually forgotten most of it. Le sigh.

That's totally what happened to me 2 days ago! I was building up my motivation to record my dreams in the middle of the night. So I "woke up" and was like "dang what a dream". So I pick up my dream journal and start writing tons of pages about it. I'm like sweet. Then I wonder why I'm so satisfied. I like looking back on entries, but not the acutal writing. I was so satisfied because it seemed like I wasn't putting in any effort while I was writing. Then how come I was writing? Bam, false awakening. But at the time, I didn't know the term. I think I was lucid for a second but all I could think was, "Oh crap, all that writing and nothing?" But I quickly lost my lucidity and was pretty angry.
If Darth Vader came in while I was "writing", I'd probably scream til the point he (and I) were deaf (I can scream SOO loud..no joke) oh yeah, and I'd crap in my pants too.

That actually happens to me a lot, I've gotten into the habit of checking my surroundings after a lucid dream.

haha that's hilarious! I've had those moments where just before I RC during a dream I think "no way this is a dream. I feel awake" then something crazy happens and I think "um... okay I'm going to do a RC now"
