      Afraid

This past week, and only this week, I have had about 5 dream re-entry chances and have gotten out of all of them. For some reason I am terrified of them now, but I have gone through tons before with no problems. I am pretty sure I just need to suck it up but I forget that and become frightened whenver I get into SP. Does anybody think they can help?

I think the only thing that you need to do is like you said: suck it up. It's scary at first, but like everything else it stops being scary after a few times.

Yeah same here, but I am just scared I'm going to end up in a horrible place or with some evil creature. I never was until now though.

After all the reading I've done about SP, I still freak out, sometimes. Not all the time, but there are times where my fear is so intense that I have to force myself back.

I don't have any suggestions for you, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

For some reason, I've never seen anything scary during SP. All I get are vibrations, sometimes stronger than others. Once I heard a voice, but since I expected it, it wasn't scary.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

Oh don't worry about that, I'm worried about that to but it's probably normal. Talk to experienced people about it, they'll give you advice on all the facts about it. It will only happan if you think it will happen, and being scared wont do any good.

I remember once when I read about a guy who had a horrible time (which is what I think you're scared of). I think it's just the way you handle it though, if you're scared, it will probably happen.

Be confident and don't be scared!

just keep reminding yourself that no matter what happens, it's only a dream and nothing is really going to happen to you.

as far a sp is concerned... I used to be frightened of it because of the hallucinations. I would fight it profusely. But once I decided to have fun with it and experiment I began to love it.
