If anybody can find more info on Salvador Dali's 50 Secrets that would be sweet.

If we have more knowlegde of his Methods of Lucid Dream Induction and external DreamManipulation we may build our own individual ILD-methods and Dream incubation based uppon that.

      Sounds interesting!
Will check it out more tomorrow, and maybe do a little research to see what I can find.

      Thanks!

Interesting stuff, but just out curiosity, there is this part where the guy mentions something about a key. If I'm right, he mentions how you would sit on a chair-upright that is, and in one of your hands, you would hold a key. The main idea is: as you are sitting on the chair, you try and nap from there on. Now, if I'm correct, the key which one holds in which ever hand, would fall onto the ground thus creating a sound which would wake you up. Meaning- if you would to completely somewhat fall asleep during that period you're sitting there with the key on your hand, your body would vastly shut down(sleep mode) thus letting go of the key. Eventually you just napped for a mere second.

Is this sort of like a training or conditoning for lucid dreaming?

And srry for the long post, but just couldn't help to ask

I have heard different takes on the same thing.

Apparently some guy used to hold marbles and underneath on the floor there would be a metal pan

It sounds much like my own technique of holding a small iron hammer on a string attatched to the ceiling back and when you enter SP and let it go it swings forth straight against a large Bell.

This, however, failed to wake me up. I guess I'm too far out of consciousness sometime before my had enters SP and lets go.

Maybe I should get a bigger, Louder bell. perhaps one of those DAMN annoying, loud Schoolbells and a Large, heavy iron hammer to ring it. A bell that will CERTAINLY awaken me from my just initiated slumber. Thanks Dalí

Great Post.. I haven't tried this technique enough.. though I will. This will definitely help me WILD after I catch myself from falling asleep. Dali sure was disciplined..
