Thumbs up Had my 1st LD in months!

This morning, had my 1st Lucid Dream in months. I wasn't even trying like I normally do. And I also did my first reality checks while dreaming this morning. What made me lucid was...I was walking down some street with a sheet wrapped around me because I was "cold" and didn't have on the appropriate attire. (This is after being chased by evil clowns on brooms that were trying to take over the world. Everyone was in a frenzy.) I looked at the dark sky and realized how vivid the clouds looked and it just hit me that I was dreaming. So I thought of DreamViews and did a reality check. First I wanted to feel how real I felt. It was so weird as I touched my face, it felt so REAL. I rubbed my hands together and it felt real. I even slapped myself and it felt real lol. I held my nose and closed my mouth to see if I could still breath and I could each time?....I still knew I was dreaming though. I also commanded DC's to do things for the 1st time while dreaming.

I saw this lady in this building that I thought was a mall but when I got in there, it was a place of business. She had a bad attitude and didn't want to hold the door for me. I told her to tell me sorry and she did. Then I demanded that all of her hair fall out and it did. When I got upstairs, this place turned into a school. It looked as if it belonged in the 1940's. There were kids doing their work and I started to lose lucidity because I started believing that I was some agent that was supposed to be in there looking for something 'back in time'. so I did a reality check and snapped out of it. After that I told all the teachers to give me massages and to feed me. They all started to give me massages but it felt so real, I got too excited that it worked and woke up 15 mins ago.

So, how do I stop myself from becoming over excited that I wake myself?

Congrats, and cool dream! Good thing you didn't lose lucidity.

It looks like sometimes it's not trying that works.

Hey! Congrats on the Lucid Dream! This is the first you've had in months, that's fantastic. And the dream was rather cool too! Hope you have many more Lucids in the future!

Thanks! Yes, sometimes trying doesn't work. For me it doesn't work at all because I've had about 10 lucid dreams since mid '07 and I wasn't trying to have any of them.

Hope I have more as well...thanks. They come far and few between but I don't mind as long as I eventually have one.

If that's your style, stop trying!

Obviously your mind still knows about it still.
