Thread: Agent Smith, remind me when I'm dreaming

This is one method to become conscious I heard about. You visualize an agent (when awake) and command him to remind you when in a dream. Make it urgent for him, like "If you don't remind me, you're fired, your family will starve and your dog will be cooked. So you better do what I tell you properly. Don't let me down." Some say that works, didn't work for me so far. What do you think?

IDK if it'll work while awake, but try it in a dream and it might help for future LDs...

That's what I've heard - if you tell a common DC you see to remind you when you're lucid, they will.

I'll have to try that in a dream then. Anyone for whom it worked?

I will try this tonight just for fun. The only lucid dream I ever gave myself was when I focused before going to bed on something that would alert me when I'm dreaming...The scenery was a neighborhood near where I lived and we were racing up a street when someone looked at me and said : ''Hey it's just a dream man!'' And then I became lucid.


So seriously this could be something that works for me, would almost be too good to be true though

Darn it! I just had one of those dreams that are really long, but you only get lucid in the last 2 seconds... And I was in a secret agent base! XD
