      First real LD, but...

      Ok, I had my first real LD and I'm really happy about that, but it was kind of funny. The night before I didn't sleep and stayed up all day, after that I could sleep for 14 hour at ones and the last dream was the LD. I entered a small bathroom and had the feeling that I should spin, because the dream got unclear, then I thought ...When I can spin to clear up my mind... this must be a dream and started to rub my hands. ^^;
      I could feel my dream hands and it was a little bit weird. I lost my focus on my environment and had to open my eyes again, with the fear, that the dream might come to an end then, but I could see the bathroom again. I then wanted to leave the room, but awakened. T_T

      Can someone tell me how to make a dream sign out of this?

      It's hard to make a dream sign out of one lucid dream... Though congrats on your first.

      Dream signs are similarities in your dreams that you can use to help you become lucid. The right way to find your dream sign(s) is to keep a dream journal, and look through it to find similarities.

      What made you realise that you were dreaming? That, along with dream signs, can help you get lucid again.

      Thx ^^ ... Yeah I'm trying to find a good dream sign for a long time, but every time I dream of other things and it's always different. With some luck I have lot's of free time in the summer, then I will try to concentrate more on my dream journal, think this could help.

      I had 2 near LDs before... but every time I think that I could be dreaming, I feel that I knew that I'm dreaming before. It's more like getting waked up by my dream self

      I find that just remembering to ask myself if I'm dreaming does the trick...as the classic dream signs don't work for me. My life is weird. I can read text in my dreams and it stays the same. Hell, I can read books and play music that's written out as sheet music...and it stays. But I enjoy this ability.
