      What does SP feel like??

Every time i try a WILD i never actually go through SP.
All i feel a very tiny vibrations and a little numbness. When i get light i try inducing heaviness, it works for about 30 secs then disappears. I have never gotten to the point of total paralysis, i'm able to move when i want to with no difficulties Also:
      1) is swallowing ok?
      2) Do slight movements affect SP

      Thanks in Adv

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

When SP happens for the first time you will most likley want it to stop. Its really good fun but can be quite scary the first time.

Also, swallowing is fine as are slight movement - for a while.

You should go to bed, and set an alarm for about 5 or 6 hours. Then when you wake up after 5 or 6 hours of sleep; turn off your alarm, lie down and think about lucid dreaming.

Get comfortable, and from then on dont move. Lie of your side if you have to keep swallowing.

You can think about things, but dont get too involved with your thoughts. You will most likely be in REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage of sleep, and so you could start dreaming at any time while lying in bed.

Remember the aim is not to stay awake, but rather to fall asleep with an aware mind. If you feel a sinking sensation or a detachment from your body; go with the feelings and try to intensify them. You could try counting breaths to keep yourself alert.

      Hope that helps a little.

Yeah, Dizko explains amore WILDish method. For me, SP is very fun and exiting (but controlled exitement since I'll just come out of it if I get too exited). I get a lot of audio. Random scene's from the previous day, and then I'm suddeny pulled into a dream.

      not everyone experiences SP.
maybe you are too awake when WILDing? maybe shorten your WBTB. I had this problem for ages, im finally at the point where I can fall asleep...(now my problem is I fall asleep too quickly! oh well..getting there)

heres the thing I find....let yourself swallow. Theres no reason to NOT. If you dont worry about swallowing....you just kind of forget about it and it becomes like breathing (if you swallow at all!)

All this said, Iv only WILDed once (and had no SP)...and these days I fall asleep whils trying, but swallowing has not affected this.

When I'm in SP my breath sounds like an air coditioner with a deep rumbling sound. Right before SP happens I feel dread and a falling feeling.

SP is wonderful as long as you dont fight it.
