      extreme cold/extreme heat

      Could extreme cold or heat help in attaining lucidity?
      I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying. "You're next".
      They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals

      ATC: "N123YZ, say altitude."
      N123YZ: "ALTITUDE!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say airspeed."
      N123YZ: "AIRSPEED!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say cancel IFR."
      N123YZ: "Eight thousand feet, one hundred fifty knots indicated."

      I doubt it, though I wouldn't rule it out entirely. It's just that it's more likely to just keep you awake (and uncomfortable) or wake you up.
