What is mind? No Matter. What is matter? Nevermind. - Homer J. Simpson.
I'm more traditional: Enya. Not all of her songs can put me to sleep, but some of the slower ones or wordless ones can. It's hard for me to sleep to music because I'm a very music oriented person. I'll listen to music and my mind will automatically listen for patterns or I'll just play along in my head. And if there are words, my mind seems to want to follow them, especially if I know the words. |

I like relaxation music without lyrics, (series such as "The Healing Garden" and "Solidutes") |

Two of my favorites are Dead Can Dance: Within the realm of a dying Sun, and Enigma alblum three: Le roi est mort, vive le roi. I have tons of dreams with the Enigma alblum. I also put on nature sounds sometimes, like rain and the ocean. By far though, Enigma takes the cake as far as dreaming goes. |

Enya's awesome. Check out www.audiodregs.com and PM Bornslip. He makes some sweet mellow ambient tracks. |

I use Radiohead too. OK Computer's good, I just program my CD player to skip Electioneering and Fitter, Happier, since they tend to disrupt my sleep cycle. |

I have to say that I am like Amythest Star whereas music usually keeps me up because I am into music during the day so I follow along. Lately whats helped me is a good nature thunderstorm CD. Its unpredictable and it keeps me calm because I focus on the sound of the rain. Hope I helped! |

Oh, another few that I forgot the other day. Age of Mythology's soundtrack, though hard to find, has some really good 'organic'-type feeling music. And some of U2's stuff is really good for that kind of thing too. |

Hmmm... Aphex Twin (esp. his ambient collections), Biosphere, and Shpongle and Boards of Canada? |
