Everytime i go sleep i don't always remember my dreams but even if i do how can you enter lucidty if you won't notice you had a dream until you wake up?. Well i had a DILD during a nap i don't know really how i succeed but i was listening to some relaxing music trying to WILD but it failed so i went sleeping. Then i got a DILD but i still don't get it some help please.

I think DILD is more for the type of person who has noticed a lot of dream signs to help them recognise when they're in a dream, allowing them to be aware that they're dreaming while they're in a dream. There's always a chance that you could DILD just by simply realising you're dreaming, maybe nothing in particular triggering it --this was the case with me a long time ago but unfortunately I woke up once I realised.

On the other hand, it may just mean that your WILD didn't fail.

      Congrats on the lucid
To have DILDs more frequently, you have to work on raising your awareness so that you are more conscious in your dream... So that you are more the rational person you are right now than that illogical person you are when you sleep who doesn't realize how ridiculous the dream is and see it as a dream. You can do that by keeping a dream journal, figuring out your dream signs, and doing reality checks. There are also supplements you can take that will help, but I don't know anything about that since I don't use those, so hopefully someone else can add that info.

Hmm i will try to analyze my dream journal and look for dream signs and get used to RCs. And yeah Chastity you may be right my WILD might did work it was a really confusing experience. I remember somewhere in the middle of everything i tried to concentrate on a dream scene i remember my eyes where closed and i tried make a dream scene. So it could be that i actually was dreaming then i woke up and then went through a SP since i heard some strange sound but i don't know.

The only type of LD i've ever had was a DILD. I've tried other ways, but it seems that for me, DILD works the best. The problem I sometimes have with DILD is, sometimes when I wake up I'll forget I had a dream, so I'll forget that I actually had a DILD, and all teh fun is ruined. DILD is a good method if you are good at recognizing dreamsigns and dream recall.
