Whoa ! I just tried the 'shout' technique

when i was reading yesterday about people saying 'shouting commands'
      I was like.... that's stupid...
      and it won't work.. .

      then i tried it last night.. . . . . ..
i was floating.. and i was yelled.. "WALK ON THE GROUND !"
and then suddenly i floated down... . .
I've always had problems.. especially when doin the WILD technique..
where I'll be floating at the start of the dream and it takes a bit for me to get down
      finally .. a solution !!!

Anything else I could use this technique for ?
      other than the obvious..

      man...
the walls holding me back in my lucid dreams are becoming smaller and smaller..
i can't believe i never thought or read of this 'shout' thing before
They say dreaming is dead and noone does it anymore. It's not dead, it's just been forgotten, removed from our language. Nobody teaches it, so nobody knows it exists. .. waking life

I was pretty amazed at how it worked too. I think its that exertion of will. Commanding your dreams instead of "trying to do things"

I've never tried the shouting technique. I always thought it sounded weird 'cause if you're having a hard time controling a dream or you aren't completely lucid, how do you know to shout?

Well it only works if youre lucid. Once you know youre dreaming you can try anything.

      yea man...
      it's crazy..
it's weird.. cause i don't ever recal hearing my own voice in a dream before..
i felt like... when i shouted... I was commanding something.. . like a dog... sit, roll over, go fetch.. like i wasnt talking to myself. . .
i didn't think it would work, which is weird, cause usually anything that works in LD's only work if u believe they will
so i dont' know why it works..
but right after i did it
i could see myself.. like a split into 2 different people
      wwweiiiirdddd
      man.. i luv dreaming. . .. . ..

It has worked for me before to prolong an LD dream or bring clarity back to one that has become hazy and is diminishing, whereas the spinning techniques, etc never worked for me.

I just shout something to the effect of "lucidity now", "clarity now", "increase lucidity", "increase clarity", etc.
