Thread: Lucid Dream Question

So a few nights ago, I had my first Lucid Dream. Hurrah!

I was able to control my own actions in the dream, and remembered to check dream signs (looked at my hand and there was another finger growing), but I wasn't able to control anything else.

So my question is: Is it possible to have a dream ABOUT having a lucid dream?

Yes it is, and a lot of people have them and a lot of their accounts are posted on DV. But having a lucid dream and having control over every aspect (or any aspect) of your lucid dream are totally different things. So long as you know that you are in a dream, it is a lucid dream. Whether you play god or are unable to control anything is irrelevant.

I just had one yesterday. I was trying to WILD and got into a lucid dream. This lucid dream ended up in a false awakening that continued the non-lucid dream. The second time I woke, I finally came to the real world.
