Vibrating Pillow Alarm. Good way to induce WILD maybe?

I attempted a Wild last night. Didn't think I could manage a DEILD so decided to wake myself up.

Recently bought a vibrating under pillow alarm to wake myself up without disturbing wife. See link:- http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20061...w-alarm-clock/

I set it for 4.30am and put it under my pillow.

I lay on my side with one hand behind my head under the pillow (which was very comfortable). It fits snugly in your palm. I positioned the alarm so I could switch it off by just pressing it with my finger.

My plan was that since you can move fingers and eyes in SP I could switch of the alarm without waking my body up too much (almost like a DEILD).

As it happened I woke up about twenty minutes before the alarm.

The funny thing is I had had a non lucid dream in which I carried this little device all around with me. I kept losing it, or dropping it, and had to keep rescuing it. I thought it was some kind of scanner (or something) not an alarm. But it most definitely my little under pillow alarm. Just goes to show
how powerful intent really is in lucid dreaming.

Anyway I woke and and had to pee so got up. Not long after managed to induce SP, though fell asleep soon after unfortunately.

In any event it seems like it could be a cracking little device if used properly. Does anyone else use one?

Probably don't need this alarm specifically.
If your not bothered about waking anyone up, any small travel alarm would do.
So long as you can fall asleep with it in your hand.

Cellphones would work great for this wouldn't they? Well, ones that allow you to turn the alarm off with the side buttons, anyways. I just checked and mine does Going to see if this helps tonight

I use my digital watch, it doesn't have a really loud alarm, just enough to wake you up, it beeps for 10 seconds, which is useful since I don't have to turn it off, and it doesn't keep going for such a long time it irritates me.
