      Thinking Outside the Box

Well we all know that our dreams normally come from fragments during the day.
Often weird, irrelevant and unimportant fragments.
We have been trying to bring the dream world to reality by asking "Am I dreaming?" etc, and all sorts of tricks.
By what I see many are continuously trying all sorts of magic to get Lucid.
Let's face it...most of us are having trouble getting Lucid.
I say we think outside the box.

Let's turn the tables and bring reality to our dreams, but by our choice.
I say think about your day as you normally would, but concentrate on a part of your day you want to dream about.
Chances are your subconscious wants to dream about part of your day, so give it to it!
Focus on this bit fully before going to bed in as much detail as you can.
Find a point where you will reality check and you are so familiar with that situation it will be second nature in your dream to RC when there.
It only happened today, so it can't be that hard to focus and remember it.

      Let's do it !!!

      Thumbs up

What you have stated is very logical and should be taken into lots of consideration. I remember of a technique which I have came up with for increasing your dream recall- kind of similar to this one- in it's logic. What I did was try and recall anything that came into my mind from the day before or any other day. This worked quite well. Anyway, this method is very insightful which holds the meaning of attaining lucidity in a more logical approach. Thank you for posting such threat! I'll be sure to give this tech a very deep thought.

It sounds like a VILD, but since you pick something that actually happened recently, it should be a clearer scenario. Plus, for those that dream about the previous day, you have the added bonus of picking something your brain would consider anyway.

This worked for me last night again.
I woke up at 1.30am and thought of the same event from the day just passed (Not a previous dream) and went to sleep again thinking of it. (I had done this on the way to sleep too)
I had sleep paralysis within 30 seconds and went Lucid.
      Worth a try folks.

      Great!
      Thanks for responding.
A lot of us will no longer post methods due to the lack of thread responses.

      Look forward to your experiences.
