      DEILD tips?

All right, I've been trying to WILD for three years now and the most I've got was one or two short crappy LDs. I think my trying to get this down has me in a dry spell so I'm dropping it and moving on to something else.

I'm interested in trying the DEILD technique. But here's one small issue. Unless an alarm wakes me up, I don't ever get up in the morning until like 8 when I'm fully rested. I read that everybody wakes up often in the night but it's so brief you never remember it. So, how can I wake up before it's time to actually get up without using an alarm? Is it possible to deild using an alarm?

And second, is there a way to DEILD in the afternoon? How have you done it?

if possible, a good way to deild is to use like a radio alarm and turn the volume all the way down, sometimes they make a small noise when it goes off, or if you can find any other alarm like that that only makes a small noise.

otherwise you just have to train yourself to catch that moment when your just waking up, just tell yourself at night before you go to bed, i will wake up in the middle of the night, and keep an eye out for when you do.

cause like you said, you do wake up, you just dont remember, so you need to gradually become more aware of it during the night. it will also help with dream recall, cause if you can wake up in the middle of the night, you can write down those dreams directly after you've had them, and you will find you remember a lot more in the morning.
