my first wild but only got to sleep paralysis

I tried my first wild today and managed to only get to sleep paralysis.
I felt the wave come over me and the feeling of movement, there also may be what i thought was the false memories and maybe an image forming in from of me but that was as far as i got.
After a minute of the weird feelings I decided to see if the had taken effect by trying to move, but I moved in real life and it ended the feelings.

About how long till the sleep paralysis takes effect and you can enter the dream?

I think once you get to sleep paralysis its easier to enter a dream since you're body is already asleep, I suggest using malac's MFG technique.

This is exactly what happens to me. The SP feelings only last me about 5-10 seconds but then I either actually move IRL or else I fall asleep before I try any technique. I've tried visualizing in this state, but then I either wake up or fall into a dream without even going lucid.

You should keep going without moving. That short wave of...something is just a test to see if you are still awake by your brain. You are falling for it. Just keep going after that while keeping your mind awake.
Willing to talk about/listen to anything you have to say.

So is it possible to end this psychologically? It doesn't really seam to end with me moving, it either ends with me falling asleep, or else becoming wide awake again.

I managed to reach SP last night. Felt the wave and heard a few noises.

      Unfortunately just fell asleep.

But a step in the right direction I think.
