      Question My first try...

I heard about LD's last night, and knew I had to try. I lay in my bed, still as a statue, and looked at my ceiling for up to 15 minutes. Things went blurry, and I felt dizzy and I felt like I was moving.
All of this was very tame though.

I have read through some tutorials, but cannot find one simple enough.

Could someone please give me a short tutorial on how to start when I go to bed tonight?

      Cheers, CazmoV

      Easiest way to start:

During the day, seriously ask yourself "Am I Dreaming?"
(you have to ask seriously, because when you are dreaming it'll be just as realistic)
To check if you are dreaming, you can do several things...
      the easiest are:

Look at your digital watch (or any digital clock), look away, then look back willing the numbers to change. If they have you are dreaming.
You can do the same with any printed text, so pick up a book, read something, look away, look back... has it changed?

      Then,
go to bed normally, saying to yourself "The next time im aware of anything, i'll remember to ask myself if i'm dreaming."

That will set you up in the simplest way to have a DILD.

To make things even more likely.
Set your alarm clock for an hour or two before you normally wake up.
Get up at this earlier time, just go about normal things (dont drink any coffee though!)
then after an hour return to bed.
Just relax and let yourself fall to sleep, try not to move too much.
As you are laying there count to yourself "1 i am dreaming, 2 i am dreaming, 3 i am dreaming etc. etc."
Eventually if you're luckly, you'll be something like "42... i am dreaming"
      and, you'll realise YOU ARE.

Those are probably the simplest methods.
      Good luck.

`Take some more tea,' the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.

`I've had nothing yet,' Alice replied in an offended tone, `so I can't take more.'

`You mean you can't take LESS,' said the Hatter: `it's very easy to take MORE than nothing.'
