finally a lucid dream, but small prob.

so i was kind of having a sort of nightmare that i was running away from someone and i suddenly realized i was dreaming. i was at my house and i made my dream change from night to day and i decided that i didn't have much time so i started to fly. i looked down and my dog was looking at me all wierd so i wanted him to join me. my dream starts to fade so i try to spin like a top to regain full control and before i could try to look at my hand, the dream faded.

although i woke up feeling good, i feel bad for not just telling my self that i was dreaming. i didn't do a reality check cus i didn't feel it was necessary.

last nite i was reading my lucid dream book by stephen laberge and i just finished his section on regaining lucid dream control (ironic huh?)

well i guess i culd use a hint or something. thanx

Hint? You mean tip?..... You are already on the right track reading LaBerge's book. There isn't very much tips for LDing except to be more aware of your surroundings and to assume you are dreaming until you do a reality check.
