      Help please?

I've been searching on this website for my answers, only to find more questions. I have specific questions that I would like help with and I was wondering if someone could guide me?

Like I think I have A.D.D, so I feel that falling asleep would even be a hard task because I see people posting stuff about concentrating and counting and stuff.

I also heard about dream guides, and I think that sounds very interesting.

The last question I have so far is what are some techniques to fall asleep, attain lucidity, and maintaining lucidity. I know that different people do different things like counting, I've heard about dream spinning, and all sorts of stuff.

I'm pretty much just asking for someone who has a lot of patience or a really good link that can break stuff down for me

Honestly I think most kids are diagnosed incorrectly with A.D.D. We just don't like school. Also, try think more positively. If you convince yourself that you won't be able to sleep, then chances are you'll have a hard time falling asleep.

For relaxing I meditate for a bit, then I lay down in a comfortable position and take deep breaths, imagining that all my stress and other annoying aspects just flowing out of me as I exhale. I then let my mind wander which helps me fall asleep but I'm not sure for others.

For induction techniques and dream controls there are tutorials in the forums.
What do you think of my transportation/spawning method/hypothesis? ... I think it's pretty badass...

As far as WILD novices go, there seem to be two types: those who fall asleep too easily, and those who have trouble falling asleep.

I'm one of the people who can't fall asleep. I've always been terrible at falling asleep.
Most nights take me an hour to fall asleep -- I feel as though for some reason the "tired" feeling I'm supposed to experience at night, isn't strong enough for me. During times like spring/summer breaks, I would stay up an hour later each night, because of insomnia, and end up going to bed at 6:00 am :/

Since practicing WILDs, I've learned to better fall asleep. In the course of a few weeks, I've readjusted my bedtime from 6:00, to 1:00 (when the rest of my family sleeps).

I can't really do WBTB, because I can't get back to sleep, especially with the idea of Lucid Dreaming in my head....

      I think it's a learnable skill.

Thanks to you both, I'm glad that people on this site are willing to take their time to help someone out
Last night I tried the MILD thing and I think I was thinking about it too much and I couldn't get solid sleep until about 6am but I'm not going to give up.

VegasDreaming, Personally, I have 'Aspergs', Which is ADHD + A form of Autism. That syndrome doesnt make me in any sense retarded, etc.. 100% normal. However, my IQ is way above normal, and I am constantly thinking, and running my mind. I fidget, jump topics, etc. My brain functions at 59% higher then normal peoples.

I have the worst time doing WILD. I would either be laying there motionless, while being mentally awake for hours. -or- I would just crash out within minutes.

I did find an amazing wake that helps me. I have about 5 audio track I play on my ipod. Altgether, they are about 120mins of audio. I start them off in a specific order, and them play through, no loop. I found within 10-25 min im already hearing the noises and semi-vivid images of people, landscapes, etc., - I HAVE to sleep with a fan on, i need the fresh air blowing on me and cooling me down. So, I put the fan on low, make the audio levels barely slightly louder then the fan (which is low). .. You are able to hit deeper states of relaxation without having to worry about random thoughts or trying to stay awake. The audio has really nice "wakeup signals" which pull you back.

You can find a few of the Audio tracks on this site. Here is the order I have them play

      1. Subliminal_Lucid_3.0
      2. WBTB WILD with trigger
      3. WBTB WILD trigger sound
      4. Sleep in 30 minutes
      5. WBTB WILD trigger sound

      ---- Hope that helps you..

Some nights I lay in bed, staring at the stars, and I can't help but think to myself... Where the fuck is my ceiling?
