      Question about WILD

I have a question about WILD. I try to use a method of wild that is supposed to trigger a LD by switching your attention from one object to another so that no thoughts enter your mind. I start to relax and sometimes get partial sleep paralysis and a little while later my vision starts to get blurry kind of like what happens if you get cross eyed and I start to feel more awake. Is this the start of HI and supposed to happen of am I doing something wrong?

The thing about WILD, is that its different for everyone. What 1 person experiences during their WILD, another may not.. while no one may experience a certain thing, someone else may.

If I had to venture a guess though, based on what you've told me, it could be that your body is falling asleep and your mind is trying to fall asleep aswell, hence the blury vision. Although, I do gotta ask: Because you mention your vision getting blury, are you doing the WILD with your eyes open, or closed? You should be doing them with your eyes closed if they aren't. It helps your body relax and believe that its going to be asleep.

On the other hand, it could be entirely normal for you during the WILD process. I would attempt to try another type of method though that doesn't involve you jumping from object to object, and instead, focus on your breathing during the time. It helps keep you relaxed, and keeps your mind clear, allowing for the HI and other parts of the dream to form easier.

I had my eyes closed while doing this. I will try a different type of wild. Thank you for your advice.
