      Starting to WILD?

I have tried to stay conscious while I was falling asleep for a lucid, not sure if that's a WILD or not. Eventually I feel like it is really hard to move my hands ( I always do my hands ). I have to concentrate to move them, and then it feels more like a jolt then smooth. It also feels like it is being sent from far away. A good comparison might be a really laggy computer game. You will move the mouse, and the character will take a second to move. Then it will be jerking motions, not move. Also, kind of scared to trying WILDing because of the hypnagogic imagery and audio. Even screamers scare me so much I have to guess where the X is at the top of the page.

So I'm guessing that's a good thing if I want to have an LD? also, is there any way to skip the SP part of it?

In my experience (eg this morning) SP is a voilent shuddering episode with loud knocking like a door and like 5 pairs of hands coming over me,
but lasts about 30 seconds until it goes to a dream.
Don't confuse normal muscle numbness with SP.
You will know when you have SP.

True about the wait it out bit.
I can never enter SP other than on my back though...I just go to sleep on my side, as would most others.
