This is a common problem almost everyone experiences when he/she starts having their first lucid dreams. Basically you have to stabalize the dream because if it's unstable it will tend to fade away very fast. Resolve that next time you're in a dream you will take the time to observe something, the texture, the color, the shape - this will improve the quality of your dream significantly.
