Interesting RC experience

Early this morning, after a short night of sleep, I decided to try a WILD. I must have lay for over an hour and felt like I got nowhere, so I just decided to give up (I was pretty tired anyway). I was in and out of sleep, and during one of the out of sleep phases, I decided to do a reality check. I pinched my nose and tried breathing through it. And to my surprise, I could! I felt awake, though. So, I tried again, and again I could breathe through my nose. I was still laying down in the same position, and nothing about that moment felt like a dream, except for the fact that I could breathe through my pinched nose. I concluded that my hand was asleep, and therefore not pinching hard enough to block the airway (although it sure felt like a firmly pinched nose). A few minutes later, I tried a third time, but this time I couldn't breathe through the pinched nose.

Any thoughts as to what this was? Was it a FA perhaps? Or was it more likely as I concluded...just a numb hand not pinching hard enough? But it sure felt cool!

I think it was a FA. But that's just me. If I were you, I'd try to do the WILD again, but this time picture yourself on the DV website answering one of your own posts.

I sink you should trrry a MILD vith a vake back to bed. Trrry to sleep for about six hours and zen vake up vith an alarm clock. Stay avake for about vun hour. Maybe two. And zen rrread about ze drrreams you have had in zee past veek or so. After zat hour or two, go back to sleep and tell yourself zat you vill have a lucid drrream. Sink about all zee frrriends you have met on dis vebsite. And zen you vill drrream about zem!

Yeah, that's a good idea. Although I don't think I'll have the time to try that tonight. By the way, are you German or Russian? It's hard to tell. Your accent was a bit off.
